Question Figure Embedded in Answer
Embedded Figure: Figures which are hidden inside another figure are known as Embedded figures. A figure A is said to be embedded inside figure B, if figure B contains figure A along with some other elements in it. Embedded figure questions consist of unique figure which is hidden or embedded in one of the four option figures. There can be two situations
1. Question Figure embedded in the Answer Figures.
2. Answer Figure embedded in the Question Figure.
Question Figure Embedded in the Answer Figure: In such types of problems, a figure is given in the question, followed by four complex figures as the options in such a way that one of the figure shown in the question has been embedded in one of the option figure. The candidate has to select such option figure in which the question figure has been embedded
Illustration : In the following question, you are given a figure in the question followed by four alternative figures A, B, C, and D such that question figure is embedded in one of them. Trace out the option figure which contains question figure as its part.

Explanation : On analysing the option figures carefully we see that the figure in option C.
The area which has been drawn in red colour in the option figure is identical to the figure given in the question
Hence the question figure is embedded in the figure given in option C.
